FAQ: PDF to JPG

How many pages of the PDF are converted?

All pages of the PDF are converted, each to an independent JPG. If the PDF has more than one page, you will receive a ZIP file containing all the JPGs named by page number.

What resolution do the JPGs have?

JPGs are generated at 150 DPI with quality 88, providing a good balance between image quality and file size for screen or web use.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

No. PDFs protected with an opening password cannot be processed. You will need to enter the password and save an unprotected copy before converting.

Can I convert just one page of a multi-page PDF?

This tool converts all pages in the PDF. If you only need one page, we recommend first splitting the PDF using another tool, then uploading the single-page PDF here.
