FlexiConvert

Up to 20 files at once, 50 MB per file and 100 MB in total.

Your files are deleted automatically after conversion, and no later than one hour after upload. How we handle your files

Merge two or more PDF files into a single document: the attachments for an application, a quarter’s invoices or the parts of a contract that reached you separately. You choose the order and download one PDF with every page, with no sign-up and no watermark.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Select the PDF files you want to merge (from 2 to 20).
  2. Put them in order with the arrows in the list: the first one becomes the start of the document.
  3. Click “Merge PDF” and wait a few seconds.
  4. Download the PDF with all the pages.

What happens to your pages when you merge them

We copy each page exactly as it is in its PDF, without redrawing or recompressing it:

  • The same quality: text stays text (you can still select, copy and search it), graphics stay vector and images keep their resolution.
  • The same size and orientation: merge a portrait A4 page with a landscape floor plan and the merged PDF keeps both pages as they are, with no cropping and no added margins.
  • Links keep working: web links on the pages are preserved.
  • No metadata of yours: we don’t copy the author, the title or any other internal data of the original documents.

The merged PDF weighs roughly what the originals add up to: merging doesn’t compress. If you need it smaller, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.

The order of the pages

The documents are merged in the order of the list, each one with all its pages in their original order. To put one document before another, move it up or down with the arrows before you click “Merge PDF”.

This tool combines whole documents: it doesn’t remove or rearrange individual pages within a PDF. For that, use Split PDF first.

If your pages are photos or scans

Is your document a set of images, such as photos taken with your phone? Turn them straight into a PDF with JPG to PDF or, if they come from an iPhone, with HEIC to PDF. For the opposite, getting the pages of a PDF out as images, use PDF to JPG.

Protected PDFs

We can’t merge protected PDF files: neither those that ask for a password to open nor those that open without one but don’t allow printing, copying or editing, which is common with bank statements and some official documents. If the document is yours and you know the password, remove the protection in the program that added it and upload it again.

Limitations

  • From 2 to 20 PDFs, 50 MB per PDF, 100 MB in total and 500 pages per document.
  • Bookmarks (the side index some PDFs have) are not kept.
  • You can’t pick individual pages: each document is merged whole.

Frequently asked questions

How do I combine several PDF files into one?

Select the PDFs on this page, put them in order with the arrows in the list and click “Merge PDF”. A few seconds later you download a single document with every page, in the order you chose.

Does merging PDF files reduce their quality?

No. We copy the pages as they are, without recompressing them: text stays selectable and images keep their resolution. The merged PDF looks exactly like the originals.

Can I merge PDFs with pages of different sizes?

Yes. Every page keeps its size and orientation, so you can combine, for example, an A4 document with a landscape floor plan or a small receipt.

Why can’t I merge a PDF that opens without a password?

It probably has restrictions: it opens without a password, but its author blocked printing, copying or editing. Those PDFs are encrypted and we can’t merge them; if the document is yours, remove the protection first.

How many PDF files can I merge at once?

Up to 20 PDFs per merge, with 50 MB per document and 100 MB in total. If you need to merge more, merge one part first and then combine that PDF with the rest.
